To My Muse
A Poem
How could I love one unreal Never born, but ever-present She glides along, my mind she steals Naked, pale in moonโs faint crescent A fantasy yet somehow real She sings and asks me lovers questions Her ghost enticing me to feel With dark and spectral intโmate lesson I find her on my deepest seal Upon my soul she takes possession Her, for her alone such zeal And though she's false my love wonโt lessen Her name's inspโration and I do yield Have your way with your obsession 04/18/2022
